On The Block Beauty is an independently owned studio by Alanah Bennett located in Cambridge, ON specializing in body waxing and body contouring services. Alanah’s mission with OTB Beauty is to end the stereotypes involving beauty services while providing an experience that is inclusive to everyone regardless of gender or ethnicity, and wanted this to reflect in the brand identity. We chose a creative direction with a minimalistic approach including a warm-neutral colour palette to evoke feelings of security and safety. For a timeless addition, I created line art drawings of bodies and faces as graphic elements for the brand collateral and service cover images as seen on the website.
